Roborock S5 Emptying and Cleaning the Dustbin

How to open and empty the Roborock S5 dustbin?

Squeeze the two fingerholds to unlock, and pull out the dustbin. Open the dustbin, tilt it over a rubbish bin, tapping to empty.

 

How to clean the Roborock S5 dustbin?

If especially dirty, fill the dustbin with water and swirl, keep a hand over the hole in the lid while you do this. Or remove the filter and clean it separately.

Repeat the steps until the dust bin filter is cleaned. Do not use fingers or brushes to rub the filter.
Remove the filter and allow it to dry thoroughly.
*Approximately 24 hours, use an alternate filter if necessary.
