When I want to remove the Dustbin from the Auto-Empty Dock, do I need to unplug the Dock?

You can remove the Dustbin when the Auto-Empty Dock is plugged into the power socket. The indicator light on the dock will become red when you remove the Dustbin, and the auto-emptying process won't start without the Dustbin.
